📋 Description

• Analyze, develop, and maintain IBM i / AS/400 applications • Perform corrective, evolutionary, and adaptive maintenance • Develop and maintain applications in RPG, Free-form RPG, and RPGLE (ILE RPG) • Work with legacy System/36 (S/36) applications and routines • Analyze requirements, business rules, and the impact of changes • Work with DB2 for i / DB2/400 • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes • Handle support tickets in accordance with established SLAs • Perform testing and support user acceptance processes • Document implemented solutions and changes • Support integrations between AS/400 and other platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience with IBM i / AS/400 (minimum 5 years) • Proficiency in RPG, Free-form RPG, RPGLE / ILE RPG, and System/36 (S/36) (minimum 5 years) • Knowledge of DB2 for i / DB2/400 and SQL • Knowledge of CL/CLLE (Control Language) for analyzing and maintaining routines, jobs, and batch processes • Experience supporting and enhancing legacy systems • Experience with troubleshooting and incident analysis • Ability to understand business rules and translate them into technical solutions • Experience with Scrum and working in agile teams • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and systems integration • Experience modernizing AS/400 applications • Knowledge of ITIL and incident, problem, and change management • Experience working in mission-critical, high-volume transaction environments • Experience in the insurance industry and/or with policy administration, reinsurance, claims, and underwriting systems
