📋 Description
• Lead the full accounting cycle, including monthly close and preparation of financial statements • Oversee billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting • Safeguard compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards • Deliver financial dashboards and reporting for leadership • Build and elevate the accounting team through mentoring and development
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required • 5–7 years of experience as a Controller or similar executive-level role • Proven expertise in nonprofit accounting principles • Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant financial regulations • Advanced command of accounting ERPs (Sage Intacct experience preferred)
