📋 Description

• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of high-balance, complex delinquent commercial accounts based on risk, balance, and aging • Evaluate business cash flow and financial health to structure repayment plans, settlements, and workout arrangements within authority limits • Serve as the primary escalation point for sensitive, high-value, or severe-risk collections cases • Conduct due diligence, financial research, and risk evaluations to minimize losses and prevent pre-charge-offs • Track, analyze, and report portfolio performance metrics and delinquency trends directly to management • Ensure adherence to FDCPA standards, state and federal regulations, and internal compliance protocols • Partner with Legal, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales teams to resolve recurring payment defaults • Mentor junior collections team members on negotiation best practices, compliance, and dispute resolution

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of collections experience handling complex, high-balance, or high-risk accounts in fintech, merchant cash advance (MCA), commercial lending, or B2B financial services • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Exceptional verbal and written English skills at C1/C2 level • Proven de-escalation, conflict-resolution, and negotiation capabilities • Proficiency with CRM systems, collections software, ACH banking processes, and Microsoft Excel • Deep understanding of FDCPA guidelines and U.S. commercial collections regulations
