📋 Description

• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of high-balance, complex delinquent commercial accounts based on risk, balance, and aging. • Evaluate business cash flow and financial health to structure viable repayment plans, settlements, and workout arrangements within authority limits. • Act as the primary escalation point for sensitive, high-value, or severe risk collections cases. • Conduct due diligence, financial research, and risk evaluations to minimize losses and prevent pre-charge-offs. • Track, analyze, and report portfolio performance metrics and delinquency trends directly to management. • Ensure strict adherence to FDCPA standards, state/federal regulations, and internal compliance protocols. • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales teams to resolve root causes of recurring payment defaults. • Mentor junior collections team members on negotiation best practices, compliance, and dispute resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of collections experience handling complex, high-balance, or high-risk accounts within fintech, merchant cash advance (MCA), commercial lending, or B2B financial services. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Exceptional verbal and written English skills (C1/C2) with proven de-escalation, conflict-resolution, and negotiation capabilities. • Proficiency with CRM systems, collections software, ACH banking processes, and Microsoft Excel. • Deep understanding of FDCPA guidelines and U.S. commercial collections regulations.
