📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performing Python backend services • Build and enhance microservice-based applications supporting global content distribution workflows • Develop and integrate REST APIs connecting internal enterprise systems • Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing backend production services • Contribute to frontend application development and UI functionality as needed • Collaborate with a distributed global engineering organization on Q4 deliverables • Navigate an existing complex codebase and begin contributing quickly • Participate in code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and agile delivery planning

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional senior-level software engineering experience focused primarily on Python backend development • Proven expertise designing, building, and maintaining microservices architectures • Hands-on AWS experience with ECS, S3, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild • Extensive experience designing, developing, and securely consuming REST APIs • Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable backend design principles • Ability to work independently, ramp up quickly, and deliver value within existing production codebases • Excellent English communication skills • Practical experience with modern frontend frameworks • JavaScript proficiency • React experience is a strong plus • Experience in media, publishing, content distribution, or marketplace platforms is preferred • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and cloud-native development environments is highly valued • Prior success on short-term or high-urgency delivery projects is an advantage • Must be currently based in Latin America
