📋 Description

• Create scalable and efficient products that consistently meet client needs • Design new features and functionalities • Implement and develop application functionality • Test the application • Lead creation of innovative features while following best practices and maintaining exceptional code quality • Participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle • Contribute to architecture and code development • Oversee launches of new releases • Support critical customer services that ensure payment security • Monitor technology trends and recommend improvements to the existing technology stack • Champion engineering excellence and continuous improvement • Practice and promote code reviews, Test-Driven Development, pair programming, and clean, maintainable code • Collaborate within an autonomous, independent, cross-functional engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Ruby (Rails) backend development • Ability to conceive the technical design of a complex product feature • Experience working on a rapidly growing product • Knowledge of architectural models for large-scale web applications • Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum or Kanban • Experience in API development • Knowledge of resilience, scalability, and security constraints • Fluent in English • Desire to work on longer-term technical challenges and accomplish them • Nice to have: full-stack development experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript • Nice to have: DevOps culture and ability to work on deployment pipelines and CI/CD tools such as Docker, AWS, or GitLab CI • Nice to have: experience in security-focused environments and good security practices • Nice to have: mentoring and leadership experience • Nice to have: experience with other technologies in high-throughput environments • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of application or be a citizen of the Schengen / EU zone
