📋 Description

• Truv is transforming the financial data industry with a secure and real-time API platform for payroll account access; streamlining income and employment verification and direct deposit switching. • Work with engineers on key technical decisions, break ties, and escalate short-term decisions that may have long-term impacts on product and user experience. • Maintain alignment between product and engineering and coordinate multiple work streams across platform, application, and integration teams to achieve high-quality, on-time deliverables. • Define and track engineering performance metrics while upholding a culture of quality, clarifying scope, and ensuring accountability. • Set up teams for success by defining career paths, unifying teams behind company goals, and encouraging cross-team collaboration. • Serve as a proactive partner across product, design, sales, marketing, people, and operations.

🎯 Requirements

• You have strong expertise in building data products with complex backend logic and have at least 10 years of hands on backend development under the belt. • You can be a player-coach when needed going into the details and looking into the code as well as running well defined process of product development and managing the team. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, foster engineering culture, and be a strong advocate for engineers. • Champion a culture of proactivity, engagement, teamwork, and kindness; report directly to the CTO and collaborate with engineering managers.
