📋 Description
• Create and implement strategic plans for sourcing raw materials while optimizing costs, upholding high standards for ingredient quality, and maintaining raw materials supply continuity. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new ingredient suppliers and manufacturers, focusing on certified organic sources; manage existing supplier/manufacturer relationships. • Drive down costs through smart purchasing strategies, volume negotiations, and supplier partnerships without compromising quality or certification standards. • Ensure availability of raw materials to support production schedules while minimizing overstock and waste; maintain optimal inventory in alignment with forecasted demand. • Ensure compliance with company policies, organic certifications, and industry regulations. • Work with internal departments such as finance, research and development, and production to ensure supply continuity and alignment with Truvani’s mission and values.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills • A deep understanding of supply chain dynamics • Experience onboarding and managing suppliers and manufacturers • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in the organic food, supplements, or natural products industry
