📋 Description

• Play a key role in promoting and supporting the growth of Talking Stick and other First Nations programs • Responsible for supporting all aspects of program delivery, program management, communications, and reporting for their designated region of communities • Build awareness, momentum, and support for Talking Stick and other programs • Train and provide oversight to a regional team of Indigenous Peer Advocates • Engage in proactive communications with Peer Advocates • Ensure adherence to the program's needs and safety • Frequent travel required including long-distance drives for meetings, presentations, and community visits

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Saskatchewan, in the assigned region/area • Must identify as Indigenous and provide Proof of Status • Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and access to your own vehicle • Must demonstrate cultural competence, including knowledge and understanding of First Nations protocols, customs, culture, ceremony, and history. • A combination of education and experience will be considered • At least two year’s experience at a Program Coordinator level or higher • Experience working with Microsoft Office software • Experience working with First Nations Tribal Councils, Chiefs, and Communities.
