📋 Description

• Lead a finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations • Manage customer accounts, address financial requests, and ensure high service levels • Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following US GAAP - 280E standards • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders • Monitor financial performance and deliver insights and recommendations to leadership • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with department heads • Monitor variances and implement corrective actions • Develop financial models for business planning and decision-making • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies • Develop and enforce internal controls and policies • Lead and mentor junior finance team members • Collaborate with customers’ operations, HR, legal, and other departments • Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives • Provide administrative support to Management as needed • Streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management • Excel proficiency at intermediate to advanced level • ERP systems proficiency at intermediate level; QBO desired • Familiarity with GSuite and Slack • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting • Attention to detail • Organizational abilities • Time management • Conversational English (C1-C2) • Good written and verbal communication skills • Interest in process improvement and automation • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
