📋 Description

• Own monthly closing coordination with our external accountants in Spain, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication. • Implement internal financial controls and scalable processes, including opportunities for automation. • Ensure compliance across Spain, EU and US. • Manage vendors and contracts, including spend tracking, renewals, and documentation. • Support cross-functional projects, including grants, tenders, data requests, reviews, and market analyses. • Handle operational tasks needed to keep the company running smoothly. • You will be hands-on from day one, progressively owning more as you grow into the role.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of audit experience, ideally Big 4 or similar. • Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting and financial statements. • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. • Understanding of compliance requirements across Spain/EU/US (or the ability to learn quickly). • Fluency in English and Spanish. • High ownership and autonomy. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to operate in ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities. • A proactive, hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Nice to have: Experience collaborating with external accounting firms. • Experience with internal controls or process implementation. • Experience with automation (dashboards, workflows). • Experience working in or with fast-growing tech companies. • Additional languages.
