📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve a modern, scalable, and secure research computing ecosystem that supports the University’s diverse and rapidly growing research community. • Responsible for end-to-end architecture across compute, storage, networking, platforms, cloud and software services. • Translate research proposals and grant requirements into standard technical solutions and leveraged infrastructure and services.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. • Significant experience in systems architecture, enterprise infrastructure, platform design or related IT roles. • Direct experience designing or supporting CMMC Level 2 (or equivalent NIST 800-171) compliant environments • Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar regulated cloud environments • Familiarity with DoD research funding requirements and secure data handling practices • Experience building secure research enclaves or regulated computing zones in higher education or federal environments
