📋 Description

• Operate directly on data, organize the technical stack, and set up infrastructure • Personally deliver projects as the technical fallback when needed • Guide architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, maintainable codebases • Build and use AI agents and review agent-based work • Lead product-feature and process innovation • Manage idea and prompt collection and prioritization • Drive experimentation and iteration • Allocate projects across pods based on skills and performance • Prioritize tasks to meet business goals • Coordinate with cross-functional teams • Monitor velocity, cycle time, and other throughput metrics • Optimize development processes and ensure deployment quality • Perform task reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify risks • Conduct performance analysis, mentorship, feedback, and talent management • Lead teams through urgent, high-pressure delivery schedules • Drive rapid-iteration delivery while maintaining quality • Take direct ownership of outcomes and respond to urgent needs

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level, hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and NestJS • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GCP • Ability to build and use AI agents and evaluate agent-built work • Experience leading projects using Python for data analysis, backend development, or AI/ML applications • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend and full-stack development • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, data manipulation, Pandas, NumPy, and SQL • Strong focus on data validation, cleansing, enrichment, and quality • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Electrical Engineering backgrounds acceptable • 5+ years of software development experience • At least 2 years in a leadership role for Engineering Manager-level scope • For Senior Engineering Manager/Technical Team Lead scope, experience managing meaningfully larger teams than 3–6 people • Proven record leading urgent, complicated technical work and delivering on time or ahead of time • Demonstrated ownership, high personal output, and strong initiative • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
