📋 Description

• Manage and oversee design management during concept, design development and construction phases for cultural and performing arts projects • Collaborate with design professionals, contractors, and client representatives to align project goals with contract specifications • Support the design process, including reviewing drawings, assessing constructability, and integrating operational and technical production needs • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor financial status and ensure timely invoicing • Manage procurement strategies, including FF&E and specialized production equipment • Facilitate communication and governance, including leading kick-off and regular stakeholder meetings • Proactively manage risks, change control, and performance metrics throughout design and construction • Coordinate commissioning, closeout, training programs and operational readiness

🎯 Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of cultural projects Project Management experience, or equivalent arts and cultural sector expertise • Public sector project experience, specifically performing arts projects • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to be self-sufficient and independently manage / own multiple projects • Ability to advise at a strategic level during the project conception stage • Great time management skills • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and industry-specific project management and market research software • Demonstrated commitment to information management, ensuring project data is properly documented, shared among team members, and securely archived for future reference • Ability / willingness to travel nationally on a frequent basis • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and sites on a daily basis • Ability to present to large groups in a professional manner
