📋 Description

• Contribute to conceptual and schematic design phases • Provide creative input and develop design solutions aligned with client needs and project goals • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using Revit, Archicad, or SketchUp • Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements • Develop and maintain project documentation, including construction details, material specifications, and technical reports • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants via remote communication tools • Attend virtual meetings, design reviews, and discussions • Coordinate with local team members to integrate design intent with engineering, structural, and other disciplines • Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver design work and documentation on time • Participate in project quality control and review work for accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Provide creative design solutions, technical drawings, and project documentation • Ensure work meets client requirements, project deadlines, and relevant building codes and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field • Registered Architect will be highly regarded • Minimum of 6 years of architectural experience • Multi-residential experience required; retail, commercial and hotel experience highly regarded • Minimum of 2 years of experience on projects within Australia • Strong proficiency in Revit • Archicad desirable but not essential • Familiarity with BIM advantageous • Strong understanding of Australian construction methods, materials, and building regulations • Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and details • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment using tools like Microsoft Teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail • Ability to work within time zones compatible with the practice's working hours
