📋 Description

• Mentor and grow engineers at different career stages, supporting performance, feedback, and professional development. • Lead engineering teams toward high levels of productivity, reliability, and delivery predictability. • Contribute to engineering culture, standards, and best practices across the organization. • Drive team roadmaps and priorities, coordinating dependencies with Product and other engineering teams. • Design, build, and maintain APIs, backend services, systems, and supporting user-facing experiences. • Own the planning and execution of new partner integrations, from discovery through production. • Balance engineering management responsibilities with individual contributor work when needed. • Plan and execute work across monthly and quarterly timelines. • Interface with external partners and vendors to deliver pragmatic, efficient solutions without over-optimizing for perfection. • Lead hiring efforts and support team growth across multiple recruitment streams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams that consistently deliver production software. • Strong experience balancing people management and hands-on technical contribution. • Deep experience designing and building APIs at scale. • Hands-on experience building and launching AI-powered or ML-enabled features/projects. • Strong understanding of planning and execution across medium- and long-term horizons (months/quarters). • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal). • Deep expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Ruby or Rust
