• Work as a remote on-call video editor with Udacity's production team to create engaging, high-quality course videos for tens of thousands of students • Edit course content in Adobe Premiere • Collaborate with production team on short- to long-term contractor projects as scopes arise • Be available for approximately 25–30 hours per week when scoped • Manage media assets and maintain organizational systems • Balance long-form, in-depth editing and rapid switching to urgent assignments • Provide deliverables and editing samples as requested by the team
• A strong reel showcasing their editing skills and visual storytelling ability • Minimum 2 years experience in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects • Experience animating 2D and 3D animations • Strong media management and organizational skills • Takes direction well but also has sound editorial judgement • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication • Juggles a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining calm, organized, and flexible • Comfortable being heads-down on long-term, in-depth editing tasks and switching to urgent assignments • Possesses solid communication skills and can give and take constructive feedback well • Constantly seeks opportunities to develop technical skills and learns well from failure • Fluency in English (written and verbal) • Ability to edit course content in Adobe Premiere • Submit resume or CV and a selection of recent editing samples (including AfterEffects work)
