• Responsible for leading physician education and outreach initiatives to improve clinical documentation, coding accuracy, and regulatory compliance. • Provides expertise in designing and delivering training programs that enhance physician understanding of documentation standards, coding guidelines, and reimbursement requirements. • Ensures alignment with organizational policies, payer regulations, and national quality reporting programs. • Coordinates with providers, coding staff, and compliance teams to resolve documentation challenges and strengthen collaboration between physicians and revenue cycle operations. • Develops strategies to drive continuous improvement in documentation quality, patient outcomes, and organizational performance.
• Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years of experience • All experience must be paid and in the same related field • Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week • Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted • RHIA Certification, CPMA, CCDS, Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
