📋 Description

• Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB. • Defining, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Service Configuration Management practice. • Establishing, tracking, and reporting on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs. • Ensuring that the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information. • Ensuring that service trees are maintained and kept up to date. • Ensuring that Service Configuration Management processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution. • Preparing and maintaining policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the Service Configuration Management practice. • Contributing to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices. • Creating and maintaining a positive customer experience. • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience. • Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), particularly Service Configuration Management. • Proven experience in defining, implementing, documenting, and improving Service Configuration Management practices. • Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and governing a CMDB, including CI lifecycle management. • Proven ownership of CMDB data quality, governance, and continuous improvement. • Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes. • Practical knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations. • Experience creating, maintaining, and mapping services, service trees, and dependencies. • Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle management, complex information systems, and their interoperability. • Proven experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong reporting and organizational abilities.
