📋 Description

• Oversee Core Application deliverables for product launches, post-launch features, customer acquisition, servicing, and middleware integration • Serve as an SME for Core application-related initiatives • Develop and deliver engineering deliverables for product sales, customer acquisition, and servicing solutions across Core Applications (Life Asia/Life400), CCM Solutions, Underwriting Engines, Workflow, and Middleware Integration with front-end/mobile applications • Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery Leads, and technical team members to define technical designs for product launches, post-launch features, enhancements, and new project initiatives • Develop technical solutions and guide junior IT team members • Partner with business product owners to drive Product & Proposition targets and customer service deliverables • Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks and projects • Build relationships with Delivery Leads, Engineering team members, and business users across the organization; articulate technical solutions across teams • Contribute to Policy Admin System architecture and design by providing best-practice guidance and patterns • Maintain knowledge of industry verticals and insurance/financial-industry updates to support and suggest appropriate solutions • Control and commit to agreed timelines • Finalize the best technical solutions for business needs • Recommend solutions for issues and challenges faced by users

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Insurance/Financial Industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years supporting Core Policy Administration systems, especially Life Asia/Life400 • 5+ years of COBOL/400 programming experience on LifeAsia/Life400 applications • Knowledge of surrounding applications such as underwriting engines, front-end/mobile applications, and workflow • Experience with omnichannel integration • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies • Knowledge of integrating Core applications with surrounding applications such as Sales Portals, Workflow, and underwriting engines • Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset with strong communication skills • Very good conceptual and analytical skills and motivation to define process automation • Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment • Experience with application integration middleware such as MuleSoft is an advantage • Strong understanding of Agile/Iterative delivery methodology
