📋 Description

• Own project-level financial governance and performance reporting across the global Customer Success portfolio • Ensure accurate and consistent project accounting, including revenue and cost matching, accruals, WIP, unbilled revenue, and aged debt • Deliver timely month-end close outputs with insight, variance analysis, and forward-looking commentary • Maintain financial integrity and compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and governance frameworks • Act as senior finance partner to CS leadership, Delivery Directors, PMO, and Project Managers • Challenge delivery assumptions, commercial constructs, margin expectations, and project plans • Translate financial data into actionable insight to improve margin performance and delivery outcomes • Support decision-making across the project lifecycle, from initiation through delivery and close • Coordinate global CS forecasting cycles and maintain robust forecast records and assumptions • Support scenario modelling for operational, resourcing, and commercial decisions • Provide insight for longer-term Professional Services and Customer Success planning • Partner with PMO on scope control, change management, and commercial terms • Support billing accuracy and timeliness with Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Delivery teams • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions • Support Customer Success-related internal and external audit activities • Maintain controls across project data, revenue recognition, and reporting processes • Ensure project financial processes are consistent, documented, and audit-ready • Collaborate with FP&A, Group Accounting, Billing & AR, PMO, Delivery Management, Resource Management, and Deal Desk teams • Coordinate with finance support colleagues for efficient and scalable CS financial operations • Align project-level reporting with CS-wide strategy, planning, and performance rhythms

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in Professional Services project accounting, ideally across global or multi-region environments • Sound financial and commercial judgement across fixed-price and time-and-materials delivery models • Effective senior finance business partnering skills, including influencing stakeholders and challenging assumptions • Advanced financial analysis and modelling capability • Strong Excel skills • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, international, and matrixed environments • Experience in consulting, SaaS, or global delivery organisations (desirable) • Practical exposure to IFRS 15 in a services or software context (desirable) • Experience partnering closely with PMO, Delivery, or Customer Success teams (desirable) • Advanced Excel • ERP systems, such as Unit4 or similar • FP&A and planning tools • BI/insight tools, such as Power BI • Project accounting expertise • Strong commercial and analytical judgement • Financial modelling and scenario analysis • Understanding of margin performance and services economics • Governance, controls, and risk-aware mindset • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
