📋 Description

• Curate and structure textual, visual and metadata from 225 eligible HØW submissions • Conduct literature reviews on circular construction, taxonomies, archetypes, construction genome approaches and classification methods • Support development and documentation of the HØW-GENIUS codebook • Pilot and systematically apply the coding framework to selected HØW projects • Document coding ambiguities and emerging categories • Support data cleaning, quality assurance, coding consistency checks and quantitative-analysis preparation • Interpret clusters and develop circular construction archetypes • Map features and archetypes against CARE Research Areas • Prepare transparent and reproducible research documentation • Support figures, tables, supplementary materials and references for a scientific publication • Prepare materials for CARE seminars, workshops and academic exchanges • Assist with the project policy brief and dissemination through HØW and CARE channels • Maintain research files, datasets, coding records, references and version control • Support scheduling and preparation of meetings • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Master’s degree programme at a recognised university in Architecture/Architectural design, Civil or structural engineering, Construction engineering/building science, Environmental science/sustainability science, Urban planning/urban studies, Circular economy or another relevant field • Professional-level fluency in English is required • Experience working with structured datasets, qualitative content analysis and/or data visualisation is an asset • Strong communication and writing skills • Strong planning, organization and time management skills • Professional and conscientious attitude • Ability to independently prioritize • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity • Knowledge of German is an asset • Knowledge of another UN official working language is an asset • Must satisfy medical clearance, security clearance, BSAFE course, travel visa and liability waiver prerequisites for mission travel • UNU does not sponsor a working visa for this position
