📋 Description

• Upstart is the leading AI lending marketplace partnering with banks and credit unions to expand access to affordable credit. • We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Revenue Science team. Revenue Science builds the systems that optimize the offers we present to borrowers. • You’ll collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners across Product, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Capital Markets to build scalable systems that respond to changing lender needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development, with a strong focus on distributed systems and APIs • Experience with some or many of the following: Kotlin, Python, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud native environment • Experience with microservices architecture and real-time data processing pipelines (Kafka, Spark, or similar) • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and data warehousing solutions • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
