📋 Description

• Install, configure, and manage SQDR and SQDR Plus environments, including intermediate hosts and control databases. • Implement and monitor Change Data Capture (CDC) using native log APIs or ODBC, depending on source system. • Design and execute replication topologies: one-to-one, hub-and-spoke, or fan-out. • Configure and maintain replication jobs, agents, services, and web consoles. • Ensure replication resilience through failover and load balancing configurations. • Troubleshoot replication errors, log miner failures, ODBC/API connectivity, and performance bottlenecks. • Tune performance by optimizing parallel jobs, core allocations, memory, and thread usage. • Collaborate with DBAs and infrastructure teams for archive log settings , DB triggers, and schema changes. • Define and enforce SLA thresholds , alerts, and monitoring dashboards. • Maintain security posture of replication systems (role-based access, logging, auditing). • Document replication architecture, recovery procedures, and client-specific playbooks. • Participate in disaster recovery and high availability validation testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • 3+ years experience in data replication or integration engineering roles. • Certification in relevant database technologies or data integration tools is a plus.
