📋 Description
• Interpret and bill physician charges • Enter charges into the Billing System with accurate codes • Review documentation for coding compliance • Monitor and follow up on billing captures • Coordinate with physicians regarding coding • Participate in staff meetings and project management
🎯 Requirements
• Must be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) • Excellent working knowledge of medical terminology • Knowledge of third-party billing and collection regulatory guidelines • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently or in a team • Proficiency in office equipment and software including MS Office and EMR systems • High school diploma or GED equivalent
