📋 Description

• Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 environments • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, organizational units, users, groups, and computer accounts • Perform server builds, upgrades, migrations, hardening, and decommissioning • Manage Windows patching using WSUS, MECM/SCCM, or equivalent platforms • Troubleshoot operating system, application, authentication, networking, performance, and system-level issues • Manage Microsoft Failover Clustering, Windows Server roles, and high-availability environments • Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualized Windows workloads • Perform system performance analysis and capacity optimization • Implement and maintain Windows security baselines and hardening standards • Troubleshoot authentication issues involving Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, certificates, and domain connectivity • Manage Windows services, scheduled tasks, event logs, registry settings, and system configurations • Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities • Automate repetitive administration tasks using PowerShell • Monitor infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and logging platforms • Participate in incident, problem, change, and request management processes • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and infrastructure reports • Participate in 24x7 on-call / shift support, where required

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Windows Engineer with enterprise Windows Server infrastructure experience • Strong troubleshooting and PowerShell automation skills • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 • Experience managing Active Directory, AD DS, OU, users, groups, FSMO, Sites & Services • Experience with DNS zones, records, DHCP scopes, and troubleshooting • Experience creating, configuring, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects • Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and administration • Experience with WSUS, SCCM/MECM, or equivalent patching platforms • Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V • Knowledge of Windows hardening, security baselines, and endpoint security • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing basics, and firewall concepts • Experience with Windows monitoring, event logs, and performance counters • Knowledge of backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery concepts • Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management • Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call / shift support, where required • Good to have: Microsoft Azure / Azure Virtual Machines • Good to have: Microsoft Entra ID / hybrid identity • Good to have: Microsoft Intune • Good to have: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint • Good to have: SCCM/MECM administration • Good to have: Windows Failover Clustering • Good to have: IIS administration • Good to have: Certificate Services / PKI • Good to have: VMware vCenter and ESXi • Good to have: ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms • Good to have: SCOM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or equivalent enterprise monitoring tools • Good to have: Experience supporting large-scale data center environments
