• Lead the development and growth of Fextralife’s newsletter • Drive subscriber growth and engagement campaigns • Curate and produce engaging newsletter content: highlights, recaps • Manage subscriber list growth and acquisition strategies • Analyze performance metrics and iterate on strategy • Plan and execute community-centric initiatives: public polls, surveys • Organize and manage giveaways or contests to reward community members • Monitor and analyze community engagement data across channels • Act as a liaison between readers/community and internal stakeholders
• Passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming culture (especially RPGs, action/adventure, community-driven games) • Excellent writing and editing skills: able to craft engaging, gamer-focused newsletters, announcements, and social copy • Strong organizational and project-management skills: capable of juggling multiple initiatives (newsletter, polls, giveaways, site updates) • Experience or interest in community building, engagement, or social media management (forums, Discord/Reddit, social platforms) • Ability to interpret engagement data (open rates, click rates, social metrics) and turn insights into actionable strategies • Comfortable working cross-functionally with editorial, social, marketing, and possibly video/content teams • Proactive, self-starter mindset able to work independently but also collaborate effectively • Bonus: past experience running newsletters or digital communities for media / gaming / entertainment brands
