📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounting areas including but not limited to: • Commission accruals and deferrals - prepare the accrual, capitalization and amortization of commissions and other contract costs. • Revenue contract review - ensure the accurate review and documentation of non-standard contract language. • Revenue reconciliations - ensure revenue impacts on contract amendments and modifications are accurate and ready to be posted for the month. • Take on new accounting areas as the business scales • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are appropriately supported and in line with GAAP. • Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits. • Assist with implementing and optimizing accounting systems and tools to drive efficiency. • Develop and maintain ad-hoc revenue reporting. • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and People teams to support business initiatives and ensure accounting impacts are considered.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred. • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; combination of public accounting and private industry is a plus. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue accounting (ASC 606), contract cost accounting (ASC 340) • Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting business needs. • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working in systems such as NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms. • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills. • Experience with close management tools, including optimization efforts
