📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership for the Transportation Management System (TMS) • Oversee the integration of TMS with other enterprise systems • Ensure that the TMS is optimized for scalability, performance, and reliability • Manage the customization and configuration of the TMS to meet evolving business requirements • Lead efforts to resolve technical issues and troubleshoot TMS system malfunctions • Continuously monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement improvements • Ensure the TMS system adheres to organizational security protocols • Lead technical projects related to the TMS, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business needs • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the TMS supports operational needs • Implement and maintain reporting tools and dashboards for actionable insights • Oversee the integration of real-time data feeds into the TMS • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) • Continuously assess and improve transportation management processes • Stay up to date with the latest TMS trends and technologies and recommend innovative solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or related logistics software • Proven experience in system architecture, design, and implementation for TMS platforms • Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder TMS or other leading TMS platforms solutions • Project Management experience in leading large-scale technical projects from planning to execution • Strong understanding of TMS architecture, integration technologies, and tools • Expertise in integrating TMS with other enterprise systems using EDI, API, etc. • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, SQL) and tools used in system customization • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills • Experience working with cloud-based or SaaS TMS solutions is a plus • Strong experience in managing projects with a focus on timelines, budgets, and business requirements • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
