📋 Description

• Hire, professionally develop, and retain a high-quality, high-intensity professional services team • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the professional services department • Assess and monitor department performance and implement improvements • Collaborate with sales and business development on client meetings, proposals, and contract negotiations • Drive operational efficiency through best practices, process improvements, and automation • Define service offerings, pricing models, and contractual agreements with cross-functional teams • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions • Establish and maintain strong client relationships; act as trusted advisor and escalation point • Attend management meetings, annual events, and CEO-directed activities • Monitor market and industry trends in delivery methodology and technology • Lead professional services capability and manage supplier relationships • Own functional and non-functional delivery of projects and programmes • Support resource management and resolve conflicts • Liaise with customers regarding delivery expectations • Manage deliveries against agreed criteria and report KPIs to the broader business • Act as product ambassador to key partners and customers • Produce metrics and identify continuous-improvement opportunities • Provide high-quality project estimates • Manage customer and partner engagement on key programmes • Work occasionally at customer and commercial partner sites to expedite project tasks • Assist with pre-sales support • Manage the professional services budget, including salary reviews, overtime approvals, training requirements, and travel requests • Support portfolio IP Bootcamps with lessons-learned use cases • Provide support for M&A due diligence when called upon

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced level in complex strategy, approach and management • Advanced level in systems integration test approach and management • Advanced level in user acceptance test approach and management • Experience of both waterfall and agile delivery approaches • Highly customer outcome focused with a solution orientated mind-set • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Meticulous, structured with excellent attention to detail • Adaptable; able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines whilst retaining control • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources; strong negotiation skills • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional attitude • Commercially aware and politically astute • Work estimation and planning • Resource management • Conflict management and resolution • Budget management • Awareness and compliance of ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301, PCI and Data Protection regulations
