📋 Description

• Join Vectara’s front-end engineering team • Work on the flagship Console product, company website, and Vectara UI React component library • Own strategic technical and architectural decisions • Shape the engineering culture with meaningful autonomy and direct impact on customers • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to implement UI enhancements and new Console features • Independently propose improvements that unlock growth and enable productivity • Partner with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing • Build front-ends for demos, open-source projects, and marketing materials

🎯 Requirements

• Effective with TypeScript and React • Clear and effective written communication • Comfortable solving ambiguous problems with a methodical approach • Initiative to identify problems and understand their broader business context • Curiosity and willingness to learn new things • Experience solving engineering problems in the browser with JavaScript and TypeScript • Ability to analyze and decompose problems and design and implement high-quality, maintainable solutions • Experience articulating thoughts in writing through RFCs, design documents, or other documents • Ability to organize and present technical information accessibly to audiences with varying technical backgrounds • Track record of achieving strong outcomes for engineering teams, businesses, and users
