📋 Description

• Support end-to-end clinical data pipelines across data lake and data warehouse environments • Build, enhance, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT workflows and data integrations • Develop and support cloud-based data ingestion and transformation processes within AWS and/or Azure • Perform monitoring, alert management, incident investigation, and root cause analysis • Implement automation for scheduling, data ingestion, quality checks, and operational efficiency • Design and maintain operational dashboards and visualizations for pipeline performance, data quality, and operational metrics • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on data transfers, validations, reconciliations, and issue resolution • Partner with Statistical Programming, SDTM, Clinical Data Programming, and Analytics teams to understand and deliver data requirements • Support KPI reporting and contribute to on-time, high-quality data delivery • Maintain controlled documentation, testing evidence, and traceability for regulated clinical processes • Apply data integrity principles and support GxP compliance, audit readiness, security, access controls, and data governance standards

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA (or equivalent) plus 7+ years in data engineering, pipeline development/operations, and multi-source data integration; clinical/biopharma preferred • Foundational SQL skills • Understanding of basic data modelling and data quality checks • Familiarity with integration patterns; NoSQL exposure is a plus • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R • Exposure to building/supporting pipelines with basic testing, logging, and monitoring • Familiarity with Agile/SDLC concepts • Jira/Confluence experience preferred or ability to learn quickly • Hands-on experience designing and supporting operational dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and/or QlikView • Understanding of data refresh, access controls, and performance considerations • Awareness of CDISC/CDASH/SDTM concepts and willingness to learn how standards impact downstream clinical deliverables • Hands-on experience with CSV, JSON, XML, and file/API-based integrations • Ability to follow transfer specifications and validate outputs • Exposure to AWS and/or Azure and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Spark • Ability to implement within established frameworks and standards • Working knowledge of GitHub/GitLab version control • Experience or exposure to GxP-regulated practices, documentation, change control, audit readiness, and data integrity expectations • Ability to follow controlled procedures and maintain required evidence • Strong collaboration and communication; organized, detail-oriented, proactive • Ability to prioritize tasks, follow guidance, and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Prior regulatory inspection/audit support experience preferred • AWS/Azure and/or Python certification preferred
