📋 Description

• Produce timely and reliable monthly management reporting files based on input from the assigned business unit. • Identify and investigate variances against benchmarks, provide analysis of differences, and explore potential problems with non-financial department heads/business units. • Take the lead on various projects, including process and system improvements. • Update Excel-based reconciliation / support packs for all Balance Sheet accounts. • Assist in the day-to-day finance operation of the Hungarian Holding entity. • Support and challenge the business heads with the Group’s Quarterly Strategic Review process (forecasting). • Deliver information packs to the auditors and meet the needs of the statutory audit process. • Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules, tax computations and cash flow forecasts. • Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers, advise on the business impact and make appropriate recommendations. • Involvement in on-going process development and transformation projects to improve business efficiency and profitability. • Act as a Business Partner within all aspects of the role. • Contribute to the success of the overall corporate strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Certified accountant qualification or part qualified required. • Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong excel skills are a must as well as experience of Microsoft Office programs. • Experience of Microsoft Great Plains software would be an advantage. • Experience of working in an international business is advantageous. • Multilingual is a must, and the successful candidate should be fluent in Hungarian and English (verbal and written) with other languages also considered advantageous. • Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is preferable. • Experience in software or high-tech industry would be an asset.
