📋 Description

• Bring VF-owned brand equipment and packs designs to life through efficient manufacturability, low cost, quality, and performance • Liaise between sourcing development and sourcing operations teams to maintain product intent while meeting commercial and operational requirements • Work hands-on with factory and sourcing development teams to capture commercialization best-practice feedback early in the product development cycle • Partner with vendors to ensure product readiness for hand-off to VF production teams • Represent commercialization in early product-development-cycle review meetings with Asia Product teams • Apply production subject-matter expertise to assess development-sample viability against commercialization requirements • Partner with brand, vendor development, engineering, and production teams on patterns, fit, materials, assembly techniques, and laboratory testing • Lead and track extreme fit-trial schedules and report progress to cross-functional stakeholders • Track timelines and hold downstream and upstream teams accountable for BR and T4 readiness • Partner with the GMS mold-tooling team to align extreme and full-size tooling timelines with BR and production timeframes • Partner with the costing team to validate sample and production patterns against yield utilization

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, technical, or production environments • Experience working for reputable fashion, retail, or consumer-facing multinational organizations • Degree in Textiles, Equipment/Apparel/Footwear-related fields • Subject expertise in equipment and accessories, LEAN manufacturing, automation, patterns, laboratory standards and testing, and materials • Ability to break down complex engineering situations and information into clear verbal or written communication • Knowledge of equipment and accessories, technical constructions, laboratory testing, material performance, fit and wear, LEAN production, automation, and speed development • Ability to work independently or within a cross-functional, multicultural team • Ability to communicate technical feedback clearly and impactfully for troubleshooting and buy-in • Strong understanding of paper-pattern creation • Excellent English proficiency • Mandarin is a plus; local/regional language is relevant • Understanding of digital product creation is a strong advantage • Strong alignment with VF’s core pillars
