📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites. • Develop test strategies and test plans for complex enterprise applications. • Perform Unit, Component, Integration, System, End-to-End and Non-Functional testing. • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and risk-based testing approaches. • Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing practices. • Execute functional, regression, performance and security testing activities. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT). • Create and maintain test data, documentation and quality artefacts. • Work closely with Software Engineers through collaborative development and pair programming. • Identify, analyse and support the resolution of software defects. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards and automation practices. • Mentor junior Quality Engineers and share knowledge across the team. • Ensure all engineering solutions meet TXP's quality, security and delivery standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer or Software Test Engineer. • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks. • Experience working within Agile software development teams. • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the complete testing lifecycle. • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. • Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing. • Experience using Git and GitLab. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Strong attention to detail and quality-first mindset. • Experience working with enterprise-scale software systems. • Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber or JUnit are awesome but not required. • Postman, Gatling or OWASP ZAP experience. • Docker and Kubernetes experience. • Azure and/or AWS knowledge. • Accessibility testing (WCAG) is a bonus. • Performance or security testing expertise is a plus. • Experience mentoring other engineers is valued. • Relevant degree or professional certifications are a plus. • Existing or eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) is a bonus.
