📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the team’s technical playbook and policy simulation frameworks • Standardize testing methodologies (A/B testing, Champion/Challenger), reusable functions for decision engines, and structured outputs for executive presentations • Lead the design, calibration, and continuous evolution of decisioning strategies and rules across the entire credit lifecycle • Use data analysis, optimization, and scenario simulations (backtesting/stress testing) to measure financial impacts before production deployment • Continuously monitor the performance of active decision rules and strategies using business and risk metrics • Propose agile adjustments when deviations from the risk appetite are identified • Lead the application of decision algorithms, Machine Learning, and mathematical optimization • Integrate Artificial Intelligence and automation from ideation and hypothesis testing through production monitoring • Act as the primary analytical partner to the Risk, Fraud, and Finance teams • Translate complex data insights into strategic recommendations that guide the business

🎯 Requirements

• Significant, proven experience with credit risk strategies and policies, working in Data Science at financial institutions, fintechs, credit bureaus, or specialized consulting firms • Advanced proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis and Data Science • Strong command of Big Data languages and tools for creating analytical variables • Solid practical knowledge of Machine Learning applied to policies, A/B testing, survival analysis, constrained optimization algorithms, and decisioning frameworks • Deep understanding of credit financial metrics (Credit P&L, Risk-Adjusted Return, Loss Provision, NPL, LTV/CAC, vintages, and roll rates) • 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday • Employment under Brazil’s CLT labor regime
