📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and manage fraud prevention strategies, policies, procedures, and controls, with a focus on the Card product (Issuer) • Conduct transaction behavior studies, fraud pattern investigations, and predictive analyses using advanced SQL directly in Databricks • Work with large volumes of data • Identify vulnerabilities in the card business area, build the delivery backlog, and propose solutions • Continuously monitor the fraud landscape and emerging risks • Evaluate metrics, trends, and the results of implemented rules, adjusting fraud prevention strategies and mechanisms • Develop and track the area’s KPIs/KRIs, turning data into strategic insights • Communicate fraud prevention processes, policies, and procedures to relevant teams • Lead strategic fraud prevention projects from conception through results tracking • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools • Maintain strategic relationships with internal teams and external partners, including financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and technology providers • Represent the area in internal and external forums, presenting results, insights, and the fraud prevention strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field • Experience working on fraud prevention strategy teams, including the creation and optimization of fraud prevention rules and models • Extensive knowledge of fraud prevention strategies across the credit and debit card ecosystem, specifically on the Issuer side • Experience in transaction fraud prevention, preferably at financial institutions, fintechs, acquirers, or payment companies • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and CTEs • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms • Experience with card network solutions such as Visa Advanced Authorization and Decision Intelligence (a plus) • Experience with 3DS and tokenization (a plus) • Experience implementing fraud prevention solutions, including working with vendors and technical teams (a plus) • Knowledge of chargebacks and card network regulations (a plus) • Courses or certifications in Fraud Prevention, AML/CFT, Authorizations, or Card Network Rules (a plus) • Knowledge of Python for data analysis (a plus) • Intermediate English for communication with vendors (a plus) • 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday • Employment under Brazil’s CLT labor regime
