📋 Description

• Support the commercial estimating process by preparing accurate quantity takeoffs. • Perform back-end pricing by sourcing materials and project components from suppliers. • Contact suppliers to obtain current pricing, product availability, and quotations. • Review project plans to identify required materials, labor, and quantities for estimates. • Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating a material and cost database. • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure bids are accurate and submitted on time. • Maintain organized estimating records and support continuous improvement of estimating processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Construction, Architecture, or a related field preferred. • Previous experience in construction or landscaping estimating, quantity takeoffs, or a similar estimating role. • Proficiency in quantity takeoff software; experience with Togal is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of construction or landscaping plans, materials, estimating principles, and pricing processes. • Experience sourcing material pricing and communicating with suppliers and vendors. • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the estimating team.
