📋 Description

• Develop and optimize high-performance, scalable backend systems based on PHP and Symfony • Analyze existing components and enhance them in terms of quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability • Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and document them according to the OpenAPI standard • Gradually modernize the system landscape and support migrations from on-premises solutions to cloud architectures • Develop clean, testable, and maintainable code and help shape technical decisions • Use generative AI tools for code generation, refactoring, test case creation, and documentation • Conduct code reviews and support colleagues with technical expertise • Analyze bugs as well as performance and stability issues and develop sustainable solutions • Develop and optimize unit and integration tests • Work with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies and further develop deployment processes • Develop solutions for event-driven architectures and work with message brokers such as RabbitMQ • Optimize MySQL databases for performance, maintainability, and scalability • Participate in technical discussions and collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience developing and enhancing complex backend systems • Very good knowledge of PHP 8.x and Symfony 7.x+ • Very good knowledge of developing RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI • Solid experience with Clean Code, object-oriented software development, and common design patterns • Experience with unit and integration testing, particularly PHPUnit and PHPStan • Experience with CI/CD and Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus • Good knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, particularly in performance and database optimization • Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers, ideally RabbitMQ • Experience with modern AI tools for software development and quality assurance, or a strong interest in integrating them effectively into the development process • Confident communication skills in German and English • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work • High quality standards and a commitment to writing sustainable, high-quality code • Openness to new technologies and willingness to continuously develop professionally
