📋 Description

• Lead consulting projects focused on food and nutrition services operations across patient dining, retail, and clinical nutrition functions. • Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing evidence-based recommendations. • Apply project management methodology to plan, track, and deliver high-impact engagements within established timelines and budgets. • Facilitate client meetings, present findings, and guide discussions with senior hospital and health-system leaders. • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor less experienced consultants in data interpretation, storytelling, and client engagement. • Build and maintain strong relationships with mid- to senior-level client executives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance consulting tools, methodologies, and best practices within food and nutrition services. • Identify opportunities to expand Vizient’s value through additional consulting or performance improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree desired. • 5 or more years of relevant experience required. • Director-level or higher leadership experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred. • Experience in consulting or multi-hospital system leadership preferred. • Demonstrated success leading operational improvement, cost reduction, or patient satisfaction initiatives. • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to convey complex data into clear, actionable insights. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and build trusted relationships with healthcare executives. • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables (up to 70%).
