📋 Description

• Design and develop AI/machine-learning components integrated into series development processes, such as bug analysis and system analytics • Build and maintain ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation and inference • Deploy and operate AI systems in CARIAD infrastructure • Monitor systems, optimize performance and continuously improve model behaviour • Collaborate with data science, software engineering and product teams to align AI solutions • Monitor AI and machine-learning developments and evaluate new methods, tools and architectures for practical use • Empower team members and colleagues with AI tools and share knowledge within development teams • Develop the vision, architecture, design and implementation of the Group ConMod embedded software stack for connectivity in collaboration with technical teams and Volkswagen Group stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a technical field or comparable qualification • Strong background in software development with hands-on experience building and maintaining production systems • Solid knowledge of AI machine-learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning, and their real-world application • Proficiency in Python and C++ • Experience integrating ML models (ML Ops) into applications or services • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying AI workloads in scalable environments; MCP servers • Understanding of data handling and preparation, including large datasets and feature engineering • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams • Professional proficiency in English at C1 level • German language skills are an advantage
