📋 Description

• Design and develop AI and machine learning components integrated into series production development processes, such as fault analysis and system analytics • Build and maintain ML pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation, and inference for production use cases • Deploy and operate AI systems within the CARIAD infrastructure • Monitor and optimize performance while continuously improving model behavior • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in data science, software engineering, and product to align on AI solutions • Monitor developments in AI and machine learning and evaluate new methods, tools, and architectures • Enable teams and colleagues to work with AI tools and share knowledge within development teams • Contribute to the vision, architecture, design, and implementation of the future Group ConMod embedded software stack for connectivity

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in a technical field or an equivalent qualification • Strong software development background with hands-on experience building and operating production systems • Solid knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, as well as their practical application • Very good knowledge of Python and C++, plus experience integrating ML models into applications or services (MLOps) • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable technologies • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying AI workloads in scalable environments, such as MCP servers • Understanding of data processing and preparation, including working with large datasets and feature engineering • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams • Fluent English at C1 level; German language skills are a plus
