📋 Description
• Lead sourcing and procurement strategy for GPUs and related compute hardware from OEM and supplier partners • Build and manage relationships with GPU manufacturers, OEMs, and distribution partners • Negotiate pricing, allocation, and delivery terms for compute hardware procurement • Partner with the Head of Capacity Planning to align hardware procurement with capacity forecasts • Track hardware delivery timelines and proactively manage supply risks • Monitor GPU market dynamics, availability, and pricing trends • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on procurement contracts and payment terms • Support forecasting and budget planning for compute hardware spend
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in hardware procurement or supply chain management, ideally with GPUs, servers, or compute hardware • Established relationships with GPU manufacturers, OEMs, or hardware distributors preferred • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing high-value, high-demand procurement categories • Understanding of GPU/compute hardware market dynamics and supply constraints • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills • Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery risks proactively • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-demand procurement environment
