âą Lead the regional risk management programme across the EMEA portfolio âą Establish consistent risk governance, standards, processes, methodologies and escalation requirements âą Integrate risk management throughout the project lifecycle and across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, Commercial, Commissioning and Operations Readiness âą Provide independent risk oversight and constructive challenge to project and functional leadership âą Promote a proactive risk culture with early identification, ownership, accountability and timely escalation âą Advise project, regional and executive leadership as the regional risk management subject matter expert âą Lead identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, escalation and closure of project risks and opportunities âą Build, own, maintain and oversee project risk registers âą Evaluate EPC delivery risks across design, permitting, grid connection, procurement, construction, commercial performance, commissioning, energisation and MW capacity delivery âą Consolidate and evaluate project risks at regional level, identifying emerging, systemic, correlated and concentration risks âą Promote identification and realisation of project delivery opportunities âą Lead qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulation and schedule risk analysis âą Assess cost exposure, schedule uncertainty, critical-path risks, milestones and ready-for-service date confidence âą Develop risk-based recommendations for contingency and management reserves âą Analyse regional risk drivers, scenarios and sensitivities to identify portfolio impacts and mitigation priorities âą Provide risk analysis and recommendations for investment decisions, stage gates, baseline approvals and major contract awards âą Develop executive project and regional reporting on risks, opportunities, exposures, trends, mitigation and contingency âą Develop project and portfolio risk dashboards and analytics âą Monitor and report mitigation progress, overdue actions, exposure changes, realised risks and issues requiring escalation âą Provide risk information for project reviews, leadership meetings, investment decisions and governance forums âą Conduct project risk reviews and health checks âą Test project assumptions, forecasts, contingency requirements, mitigation strategies and confidence levels âą Identify cross-project lessons, recurring risks and systemic weaknesses âą Drive continuous improvement of risk processes, methodologies, tools, analytics, reporting and organisational capability
âą Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience âą Significant experience in risk management, project controls or project delivery within complex EPC, construction, infrastructure, energy, mission-critical or major capital programmes âą Demonstrated experience leading project and portfolio risk management, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, escalation and assurance âą Strong understanding of cost, schedule, contingency and project controls principles and their integration with project risk management âą Experience applying quantitative risk analysis and probabilistic techniques to evaluate project cost and schedule uncertainty âą Advanced experience with Monte Carlo simulation, cost and schedule risk analysis, scenario analysis and risk-based contingency development âą Strong understanding of EPC contracting, procurement, supply chain, change management, claims and commercial risk âą Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge senior project and functional leaders in a complex, fast-paced project environment âą Strong written, verbal, facilitation and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear business insights and recommended actions âą Ability to identify systemic and correlated risks across multiple projects and provide regional-level insight âą Experience delivering hyperscale, AI, mission-critical or large-scale data centre programmes (desirable) âą Experience with enterprise or project risk management platforms and integrations with scheduling, cost management and reporting systems (desirable) âą Relevant professional certification such as PMI-RMP, PMP, APM, AACE International, IRM or equivalent (desirable) âą Working knowledge of ISO 31000, PMBOK, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (desirable) âą Experience presenting portfolio risk, contingency, schedule confidence and emerging exposure to executive leadership and governance committees (desirable) âą Experience with @Risk, Riskonnect, Safran or other industry-standard software (desirable) âą Satisfactory pre-employment screening, including right-to-work confirmation, employment history verification and criminal record check where permitted by law
