📋 Description
• Design visually compelling website layouts for small and mid-sized U.S. businesses across multiple industries. • Work extensively in Figma — apply correct layering, tagging, naming conventions, and grouping for developer-ready files. • Use Figma Prototyping to define navigation, interactions, and page flow. • Apply principles of UI/UX, color theory, and responsive design for consistent visual hierarchy and accessibility. • Translate design fundamentals into industry-appropriate aesthetics (e.g., law, health, retail, home services). • Collaborate with copy-writers and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites. • Maintain agility — meet high-output goals while upholding design quality and brand consistency.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of professional experience in web design. • Hands-on expertise in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, and prototyping. • Strong understanding of responsive design, color theory, and typography. • Portfolio of at least 10 professional website designs showcasing creativity and consistency. • Good communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with design-to-development workflows using WordPress or Elementor (Nice-to-Have). • Familiarity with design libraries, vector tools, or animation in Figma (Nice-to-Have). • Basic understanding of SEO and conversion-oriented design principles (Nice-to-Have).
