• Responsible for increasing sales of Walter products and services in assigned territory • Provide optimal solutions to customers using value-added selling techniques • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, and internal and external stakeholders • Plan sales activities through market analysis to define appropriate customers • Schedule customer visits that are productive for the customer • Engage in active listening to facilitate learning of customer’s needs • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders • Negotiate agreements in collaboration with customers • Promote complete range of company products and services • Actively seek the sales order from the customer upon obtaining agreement • Document and report sales activities including test reports and cost savings
• Education Degree(B.S.)in mechanical engineering or business administration with technical focus • Several years of sales experience with industrial cutting tools where new business development is the primary focus OR several years of manufacturing experience • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution marketplace • Experience in working independently from a home office or virtual office environment and traveling a significant amount of time • This position requires a valid Driver’s License • Ideal candidate to live in South Maine or New Hampshire and be able to cover East Massachusetts.
