📋 Description

• Lead delivery and implementation of the Gulf Engagement Strategy • Develop and manage donor relationships across the Gulf region • Drive pipeline development and identify funding opportunities in the Gulf market • Coordinate donor engagement across WCAF, Members and country teams • Use donor intelligence, market insights and trend analysis to inform engagement • Oversee Gulf funding opportunities and coordinate proposal development • Coordinate internal stakeholders and partnerships across teams • Develop partnership models suited to the Gulf context • Ensure appropriate use of systems, tracking and reporting of Gulf opportunities • Represent War Child in external Gulf-facing engagements, networks and forums • Act as the primary strategic focal point for Gulf donor engagement • Lead market development and expand War Child’s presence across priority donors and partners • Shape partnership approaches with foundations, government-linked entities and regional actors • Drive early-stage opportunity positioning and relationship development • Progress Gulf opportunities into viable funding outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree in international development, public policy, business administration or related fields • Experience in administrative support, programme coordination or research in an NGO • Development or humanitarian setting experience • Familiarity with donor engagement and grant management preferred • Excellent English • Proficiency in French or another relevant language is a plus • Understanding of institutional donor systems (multilateral and bilateral) • Knowledge of aid-sector trends • Knowledge of project management tools • Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce • Preference for applicants who reside in an operating country and have valid working permits • Ability to submit a Criminal Record Certificate • Compliance with and willingness to sign the Child Safeguarding policy, Code of Conduct and PSEA: Adults at Risk Policy • CV and cover letter submitted in English through the careers website
