📋 Description

• Lead the architecture, implementation, and launch of eCommerce solutions for Wasserman Digital clients and channel partners. • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams, guiding platform best practices and solution optimization. • Oversee ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and support for client eCommerce sites. • Manage and coordinate all stages of the software delivery lifecycle, including architecture, design reviews, development planning, and QA oversight. • Write high-quality, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews to ensure technical excellence. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that may span multiple systems, vendors, and integration points. • Define and enforce development standards across source control, build automation, testing practices, code quality, and release management (including theme deployments).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in web and application development, including solution design and architectural ownership. • Deep experience with at least two SaaS eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce/ACCS), including custom app development and API integrations. • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript, including: React, Next.js, and TypeScript. • Modern CSS approaches (SASS, Tailwind, CSS Modules). • Hands-on experience designing headless commerce or composable architectures using REST/GraphQL APIs. • Experience integrating eCommerce platforms with ERP, CRM, OMS, or PIM systems, either directly or via iPaaS middleware. • Strong understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar). • Proven ability to lead technical discussions, create architecture documentation, and guide engineering teams. • Nice to Have Laravel or Node-based backend application development experience. • Experience with performance optimization, caching strategies, and CDN edge compute (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda@Edge).
