• Manage loan files and ensure compliance • Review new file within 48 hours of receipt • Notify the appropriate staff member if additional documentation is needed • Maintain a pipeline of 20 to 30 files and/or three to five loan originators • Order necessary documents from Loan Originator, customer or Vendor • Track requested documents in Encompass • Review documentation for discrepancies and verify income, assets • Prepare loan for underwriting submission • Ensure appropriate closing documentation is in the loan file • Respond to customer inquiries regarding transactions • Assist with clearing post-closing exceptions
• A high school diploma or general education degree(GED) • 5+ years of convention fixed and ARM, HELOC and construction mortgage loan processing • Extensive knowledge of VA and FHA loan processing • Experience working with multiple investors • Advanced knowledge of related computer applications such as Microsoft Office • Experience on a mortgage loan processing system (Encompass) is preferred • This position may require registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) if processing a loan being originated in a state that requires federal registration
