📋 Description

• Be a player-coach, managing 1 Designer and leading the vision and execution of the design system for mobile app and web platform • Own and set a strategic vision and roadmap for the Design System team alongside the Design Systems Engineering Manager, working closely with R&D teams • Partner with designers across R&D teams to define and continuously evolve the visual language, leading hands-on design and implementation of typography, color, iconography and componentry • Develop and improve tools, resources and documentation to support the system and establish a contribution model for multiple product teams • Understand teams' experiences and challenges to simplify, improve and adapt the design system to their needs • Provide regular support and guidance to teams using and contributing to the design system, evangelizing adoption within the design organization • Identify gaps or areas of improvement and rally the team to take action

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional craft in interaction and visual design with a portfolio demonstrating sophisticated component design, design tokens, and systematic approaches to consumer-facing products • Experience leading design systems at scale • Strong strategic and systems thinking; ability to shape vision for scalable design foundations • Ability to lead through ambiguity and build alignment and adoption across multiple product teams and disciplines • Experience partnering with engineering and product teams to deliver system roadmaps and adoption • Passion for creating design foundations that make investing more accessible, transparent, and rewarding for everyone • Experience managing and mentoring designers (player-coach experience)
